Using the Job Demands-Resources Model to Predict Job Satisfaction of Employees in Indonesia

Although the job demands-resources model (JD-R) is getting much attention in literature, there limited, if any, empirical research Indonesia. This study used JD-R to predict satisfaction Indonesia with a sample of 17,177 employees. Using data from 5 th wave Indonesian Family Life Survey, Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM) were performed for analysis. The main findings revealed positive relationship between resources satisfaction, negative challenging demands beyond contribution gender, age, education, marital status, type. this suggest that managers should provide employees more engage them crafting behaviors.
